![]() Majestic, through its wholly-owned Brazilian subsidiary, Octa Mineracao, Ltda, holds 100% ownership interest in a suite of highly prospective mineral projects in the Brazilian states of Para, Piaui and Rio Grande do Sul. The portfolio is comprised of multiple exploration licenses covering 46,280 hectares. The Company also has 51% controlling interest in an additional 100,000 hectares. The current portfolio includes mineral claims that are prospective for copper, nickel, iron, gold, and diamonds.
Strategic Focus - The Amazon Craton Majestic's primary mineral projects and exploration efforts are focused in the Amazonian region in northern Brazil - host of the largest preserved craton in South America. In the opinion of the Company's Management this area provides the country's best geologic and geotectonic environment for discovering economic mineral deposits. The Amazon is already recognized for a number of world-class mineral deposits and is home of Brazil's largest iron, manganese, copper, gold, bauxite, kaolin, titanium niobium, and nickel deposits. Majestic will focus on further developing its significant mineral projects in the Amazon where a measurable amount exploration and field development work has been completed. The use of airborne mag-gamma surveys, stream sediment sampling programs, radar, LandSat images interpretation, field follow-up, and laboratory analysis have produced highly favourable results demonstrating significant mineralization within the claim areas. ![]()
Majestic's largest block of mineral claims (1-4, and 7 above) are strategically located within the Amazon Craton inside the Brazilian state of Para. The Amazon Craton hosts some of South America's largest economic mineral deposits and is home of the world-renowned Carajás Mineral District.
The 'Carajás Mineral District' is considered one of the most important metallogenetic anomalies in the earth's crust and hosts the world's largest iron-ore deposit and a number of other world class deposits of gold, copper, tin, manganese, bauxite, and nickel.
